Are there any plans for a Linux version for the bot runner? I mostly use bot runner to call api;s and do JS code, so it would be nice to have a bot runner for Linux that is not dependent of the RDP session or any Windows error
or in the next best thing to release a bot runner attach to a service and not a session? that way would run with the necessary permissions without any user dependent
Hi @victor.beltran – sorry for the late response, but I’ve got something you might be interested in.
While we have no plans to release a Linux version of Bot Runner, you said that your processes are mostly calling APIs and running JS code, and that relying on a Windows session for this was not the best solution.
I agree, and very soon we’ll be launching Cloud-powered flows within our AI Agents overhaul, which will allow you to create flows that do those things without the need for running anything on a Bot Runner – these will run on ElectroNeek’s own Cloud.
We’ll be revealing these new features in a webinar on April 1st. You can register using this link: ElectroNeek April 2026 Webinar - AI Agents Rebooted | ElectroNeek
I encourage everyone to join, it’s gonna be a whole new era for ElectroNeek.
